Job Opening: Applications Engineer
Job Description
Gather in-house project’s requirements to install processes to form a basis for the solution of business processing problem; design, develop, and implement the web-based application and view components, using JSP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML and Custom tag libraries; perform development and maintenance for user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities in accordance to systems development life cycle (SDLC); create technical system documentation and ensuring that document is current in all phases of SDLC; develop and implement web end to end application components involving business layer, persistence layer, database and web services layer; create and configure data modeling, using UML and object diagrams to identify systems which is used to be connect from Java application; enhance application performance, using core Java, Java concurrency Executor Service Interface (i.e. parallel processing) to continually improve software delivery effectiveness; provide extensive pre-delivery support using Bug Fixing and Code Reviews.
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of ASAM ODS standards highly desirable.
Masters Degree or above in Computer Science or related field.
This is a full time position with occasional travel involved.
